Gautam Adani is a self made man with no inherited money or property. According to the latest report of the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, today Gautam Adani has become the second richest person in the country as well as Asia. If he keeps growing at such a pace then in no time he will be the richest person in the country and Asia. 

Born at Gujarat

Gautam Adani was born on 24 June 1962, in the Gujarati Jain family of Ahmedabad. Today he owns four helicopters and dozens of vehicles. Currently he rents his helicopters to Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India. There was a time when he didn’t had a scooter even.

Progressing for the status

Gautam Adani belonged to a family for whom buying a Maruti 800 was a big deal. He started working for the improvement of his financial status. Right now he owns a number of BMW cars three helicopters, three Bombardiers, Beechcraft aircraft.

He established himself in Group Power and Agri Community. In 1991 he became a multinational businessman. In 1995, his company got a contract to operate Mundra Port, which opened a new path of success for him. 

Asia’s second richest person

Today, Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, has become the second richest person in Asia. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index report, Gautam Adani has become the 14th richest person in the world with assets of $ 67.6 billion, or about Rs 4.93 lakh crore.
