Fuel Price Update: Petrol-Diesel price hikes for the 3rd time

Fuel prices in India are increasing day by day amid the Russia-Ukraine war. It is for the third time in four days, the common man has been hit by inflation with increasing rates of fuel. Petrol rates have been hiked by 76-84 paise, while diesel prices have gone higher by 76-85 paise. Once again the rate of petrol and diesel has been increased by 80 paise per litre. According to Indian Oil Corporation, after an increase of 80 paise in the national capital, the price for one litre of petrol has reached to Rs. 97.81, while diesel is selling for Rs. 89.07 per litre.

As per IOCL, the price of petrol in the country's financial capital Mumbai has reached to Rs. 112.51 per litre and diesel is retailing at Rs. 96.70 per litre. Apart from this, petrol is being sold at Rs. 107.18 per litre in Kolkata, while diesel is being sold at Rs. 92.22 per litre. Meanwhile, in the fourth metropolis Chennai, petrol is costing at Rs. 103.67 per litre and diesel is selling at Rs. 93.71 per litre.
