Delhi-NCR: Price of Commercial LPG Cylinder rises by Rs. 250

On Friday, the price of 19 kg of commercial LPG gas in the country has been increased by Rs 250 per cylinder. Due to this, dining in a restaurant or hotel is expected to become expensive.
The burden on the common man
After the assembly elections of five states in 2022, the burden of inflation on the common people has increased again. The price of 19 kg of commercial LPG gas in the country has been increased by Rs 250 per cylinder. From Friday, April 1 its price will be Rs 2,253 in Delhi, as reported by the news agency ANI.

In other cities, the same cylinder will now cost Rs 2,351 in Kolkata, Rs 2,205 in Mumbai, and Rs 2,406 in Chennai. The price of LPG cylinders is revised monthly for all states and union territories in India. Meanwhile, the price of domestic gas cylinders has not been increased. Earlier on March 1, the price of commercial LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 105, on March 22 it was cheaper by Rs 9.
CNG-PNG gas gets costlier after petrol-diesel
The government has more than doubled the price of domestically produced natural gas. The new price will be applicable from April 1 to September 30, 2022. The price of gas produced has been increased from the current $2.90 per million British thermal units (unit) to $6.10 per million British thermal units. There is no change in the price of petrol and diesel today. Prior to this, their price was increased nine times in 10 days. The process of increasing the price of petrol and diesel started on 22 March. Till March 31, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by Rs 6.40 per liter in nine installments.
