In a view of surging Covid-19 cases in the national capital, the Delhi government has issued an advisory with fresh guidelines for schools. In this reference, if any student or staff tests positive for Covid-19 then the entire premises or specific wings may shut down temporarily.

The advisory with fresh guidelines

In the advisory, the Directorate of Education (DoE) suggested that students and staff should wear masks and maintain social distancing as far as possible. The advisory issued on April 13 said, "If any Covid case is reported or noticed to the school authority the same should be intimated to the Directorate of Education immediately and the concerned wing of the school or the school as a whole as the case may be, must be closed down for the time being."
