The National capital is witnessing a declining trend of daily cases of Covid-19. In this regard, the DDMA has issued fresh guidelines. The schools will be resumed to work in offline mode for all classes from nursery to 12th from April 1. As per the DDMA guidelines, all the schools will run only physical classes, and no online classes will be conducted. The chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the restrictions are lifted as the Covid-19 situation had improved and due to the curbs the common man is facing difficulty. The move has been announced during the meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Friday.

The new guidelines by DDMA

"Delhi Disaster Management Authority withdraws all restrictions as situation improves n people facing hardships due to loss of jobs. "Schools to function fully offline from 1 Apr. Fines for not wearing masks reduced to Rs 500. All should continue following Covid Appropriate Behavior. Govt will keep strict watch," Kejriwal tweeted.

Additionally, the DDMA has also lifted all Covid-19 related curbs in the capital. Night curfew and 50 percent capacity rule at restaurants and bars will be lifted from Monday, February 28, onwards.

The schools in Delhi were directed to be reopened offline for all classes on February 14, 2022, following a complete phased manner for students. However, students had been provided with an option to attend the classes in a hybrid way. From April 1 onwards, this option will now be discontinued and only offline classes will be conducted.
