Commercial LPG Cylinder goes cheaper by Rs 100
Indian Oil Corporation slashed the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders by up to Rs 100 per cylinder.

With effect from January 1, 2022, state-owned oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation has decreased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. Indian Oil Corporation slashed the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders by Rs 102.50 effective from January 1, 2022. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. On December 1, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was increased by up to Rs 103.50 per cylinder.

According to the IOC, the price of a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has come down by Rs 102.50 to Rs 1,998.5 as on January 1, 2022. The price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Mumbai has come down by Rs 102.50 in Kolkata to Rs 1,948.5. 1,948.5 from Rs. Rs 101 to Rs 2,076 and in Chennai from Rs 103.50 to Rs 2,131.
It will provide some relief to restaurants, eateries and tea stalls etc which constitute the largest user segment of the 19 kg cylinder. A 19-kg cylinder, following the new rate cut, will cost ₹1,998.50 as against ₹2,101 in Delhi.
