Bihar: CSBC invites Applications for Constable Recruitment 2021
The CSBC has announced to recruit eligible candidates as Constables.
The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Government of Bihar has invited applications from eligible candidates for various Constable posts. Around 365 constables will be recruited in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department of CSBC. The application process has begun from Sunday 19 December 2021 at 12 noon. Interested candidates can apply online till January 18, 2022 at the official website csbc.bih.nic.in. The selection will be made on the basis of written test and physical efficiency test (PET). Candidates in the age group of 18 to 25 years can apply for these posts. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 21,700 to Rs 53,000.
Educational Qualifications
The candidate should have passed 12th / Intermediate examination from any recognized board in India.
The Physical Criteria
Height
Unreserved and backward class Male - Minimum height is 165 cms.
For Other Backward Class Male – Minimum Height 160 cms.
For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Male - Minimum height is 160 cms.
For women of all categories- Minimum height is 155 cms.
Chest
(Only for Males) Un-expanded - 81 cms (Min.) Expanded - 86 Cms (Min.) for Unreserved (General)/ Backward Category Men
For OBC Males without expansion - 81 cms (minimum) Expanded - 86 cms (minimum)

Interested candidates will have to appear for a written test. The candidates who qualify in this will be called for physical efficiency. A score of less than 30 percent marks in the written examination will be declared for the candidate as unsuccessful.
