Recently, Bengal BJP veteran Mukul Roy 's has returned to Trinamool Congress, the discussion has now intensified that many more BJP MLAs and leaders will soon join the Trinamool Congress. It is reported that Mukul Roy is constantly in touch with the MLAs and MPs of Bengal BJP and he may return home soon. Most of these leaders are those whom Mukul Roy brought from Trinamool Congress while in BJP.

As per sources, Mukul Roy himself has mentioned that he is still talking to BJP leaders on the phone and many BJP leaders may join the Trinamool very soon. Mukul Roy, who joined BJP from Trinamool in the year 2017, has joined TMC back with his son Shubrangshu. On the return of Mukul Roy to the Trinamool Congress, the Chief Minister of the state Mamta Banerjee said that he will be given a big role in the party soon.

Since the news of 25 BJP MLAs and 2 MPs going to Trinamool Congress, BJP is in constant touch with its leaders. BJP is trying that its leaders should not leave the party and join any other party. This is the reason why all the MLAs and leaders are constantly being monitored. Special attention is being given to those MLAs who seem to be cut off from the party for some time. The BJP has also taken seriously the absence of 25 MLAs at the Raj Bhavan in the presence of Leader of the Opposition, Shubhendu Adhikari.
