India’s public record holder, Annu Rani, finished seventh in the final women’s javelin throw with a stylish gamble of 61.12 m, two meters shy of her particular stylish of 63.82 m at the Hayward Field on Day 8 of the World Athletics Championship at Eugene, Oregon on Saturday.

Australia’s Kelsey- Lee Barber claimed gold with a massive gamble of 66.91 m while Kara Winger won tableware with a stylish gamble of 64.05 m in her final attempt, while Japan’s Haruka Kitagichi claimed Japan’s first order at a pikestaff event at the Worlds with her final gamble of 63.27 m.

Scores achieved by Annu Rani
Rani’s series read 56.18 m, 61.12 m, 59.27 m, 58.14 m, 59.98 m, and 58.70 m. She has a season’s and particular stylish of 63.82 m. The public record holder had qualified for the final as eighth stylish in the qualification round with a gamble of 59.60 m. Olympic champion Shiying Liu of China was fourth with a stylish performance of 63.25 m.

This was Rani’s third appearance in the showpiece. She had finished eighth in the tests with a stylish gamble of 61.12 m in the last edition in 2019 in Doha. She couldn't qualify for the tests in 2017 in London after finishing 10th in her qualification group.
Annu had broken her own public record with a gamble of 63.82 m while winning gold during the Indian Open Javelin Throw Competition in May in Jamshedpur.
