According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is developing two new features for Windows. One feature is screen sharing during video calls, allowing users to share their screen information. Another upcoming feature is the ability to modify messages, which is already available on Android and iOS devices and will soon be added to WhatsApp for Windows.
The screen sharing feature is included in the WhatsApp beta for Windows version 2.2322.1.0 and is currently accessible to a small group of beta users. Those with access can choose the screen sharing option from the video call control panel to share their screen content.
In addition to these features, WhatsApp is introducing a redesigned keyboard to enhance user experience. As per WABetaInfo's report, the new keyboard includes an emoji bar and allows users to scroll up for a wider view. The tabs for accessing GIFs, stickers, and avatars have also been moved up. Currently, selected beta testers who update to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS versions from the Google Play Store have access to this revamped keyboard.
