Scattered moderate rain with thunder and lightning over
Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh on 26 March, scattered hailstorm
alert in Chhattisgarh on March 26. Fairly widespread to moderate rainfall

Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal. Due to the active Western Disturbance, the
process of forced shift over the mountains is going on. The weather has been
predicted to remain like this for 3 days. On the other hand, rain warning has
been issued in Kerala including some areas of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka
today.
The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in
many areas till March 29. Apart from this, an alert has also been issued for
the storm. While forecasting thunderstorms, rain has been forecast in many
areas of Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and
Nicobar Islands. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued an
orange alert in these areas.
