Adipurush is an upcoming Indian film. Its plot is based on the Hindu mythological epic ,Ramayana. The film is directed and written by Om Raut. It is produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. It is shot both in Hindi and Telugu languages. The lead role characters are the film stars Prabhas, , Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Salon, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage.It will be released on coming 16 June 2023 in India.
The other producers are Bhushan Kumar, Prasad Sutar and Krishan Kumar. It is distributed by AA Films. Adipurush was declared in August 2020, by an official motion poster. Principal photography began in Mumbai in February 2021 and ended in November 2021. The music of the movie is composed by Ajay–Atul. This film is budgeted at over ₹700 crore (US$88 million).It is the most expensive Indian film ever made in India.
The film will have its premiere at the Tribeca Festival on 15 June 2023. It will be released on 16 June 2023 theatrically. We will see the following actors and actresses playing the role of - Kriti Sanon as Janaki ; Prabhas as Raghav ; Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh ; Devdutta Nage as Bajrang ; Sunny Singh as Shesh.
Reports says that Prabhas demanded more than Rs 100 crores for his character of Lord Rama in Adipurush. It is also filmed in 3D.

The story is 7000 years ago, the king of Ayodhya, Raghava travels to the island of Lanka with the Hanuman's army to rescue his wife Janaki, who has been captured by Lankesh, the demon king of Lanka.
The motion capture shoot of Adipurush started on 19 January 2021. Muhurtam was shot and it's principal photography begun on 2 February 2021 in Mumbai.
