TV Actress Chetana Raj Dies After Plastic Surgery

A 21 years old Kannada TV actress has passed away after undergoing 'fat free' surgery.

The famous Kannada TV actress Chetana Raj has passed away in Bengaluru after undergoing a 'fat-free' plastic surgery at a private hospital. As per the reports, the TV actress was admitted to the hospital on Monday morning, May 16 for the surgery. During the evening hours, water began to accumulate in her lungs and she felt minor sudden changes in her health. 

Complaint registered against Hospital 

As per the reports, the actress went to the hospital with her friends without informing her parents about the surgery. The reports have it that the parents of the late actress are currently claiming that the mishap happened because of negligence by the doctors. They have registered a police complaint against the hospital committee in the nearby police station.

Statement by the father 

Govinda Raj, father of the late actress stated, "My daughter died due to the negligence of the hospital. The doctors have conducted surgery without parental consent and without proper equipment."

Further, he said, "My daughter was hale and hearty. She was absolutely fine. She had gone to the hospital with her friends. Someone has suggested to her that she has more fat in the waist and without consulting any family member she had come for the surgery. I will initiate legal action against hospital authorities", quoted as saying by India.com. 

Chetana Raj used to stay at Abbigere in Bengaluru. She had acted in various popular shows like Geetha, Doresaani, Olavina Nildana. Talking about the movies, she had acted in a Kannada movie, Havayaami.
