For fully vaccinated travelers from India and Nepal, Turkey has issued updated quarantine guidelines. On Monday, the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi has released the updated guidelines. Taking it to Twitter, the Embassy shared, "Updated Quarantine Arrangements For Travelers To Turkey From India & Nepal".
The guidelines mentioned that as per the new rules, all passengers will be required to submit a negative RT-PCR test report which has been taken not before 72 hours of arrival in the transcontinental country. The updated guidelines have come into effect from November 15. As per the reports, "fully vaccinated travelers will get exempted from mandatory quarantine requirement in Turkey. Further, both Covaxin and Covishield are approved vaccine for travel to Turkey", reported by TOI.
As per the updated guidelines, "passengers or young travelers, traveling with their parents, and are between the age of 12 and 18, who cannot certify that they have been fully vaccinated, they will be required to submit a negative RT-PCR test report that has been taken within 72 hours before arrival in Turkey."
