The Kashmir Files to release in UAE with Zero Cuts, Crosses 300 Crore Mark

The Kashmir Files to be released in the UAE on April 7 with zero cuts. The gross collection of the movie has crossed Rs. 300 crores.

After breaking the box office records in India, The Kashmir Files is heading to the UAE. The film got a banning order in the UAE due to an unknown reason, however, on Wednesday the director took to Twitter and shared that the ban on the film has been lifted and the movie will be released in the UAE on April 7.

In a tweet, Vivek wrote, “BIG VICTORY: FINALLY, got the censor clearance from UAE. Rated 15+ passed without any cuts. Releasing on 7th April (Thursday). Now, Singapore. (Thanks Sanu for this portrait)."  Meanwhile, Anupam Kher also celebrated the news and retweeted, "Har Har Mahadev! #TheKashmirFiles finally releasing in #UAE on 7th April! " 


In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the director shared, “That’s right, my wife Pallavi and I have been invited to the British parliament. We will be heading there next month. The Kashmir Files was made with the express purpose of taking the message of the Kashmir Pandits’ genocide to every corner of the world. I am glad we are getting there". 

The box office collection 

Talking about the box office collection of The Kashmir Files, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter on Wednesday and revealed that the movie is about to cross the Rs 250 crore mark. 

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the film’s gross domestic collection till now stands at Rs. 262.96 crores. Overseas, The Kashmir Files' gross collection is Rs. 38.14 crores, making the total of around Rs. 301.01 crores.
