Recently, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, a school teacher lost her job due to corona, she is compulsorily driving the city's municipal garbage collection vehicle due to the epidemic. Her story is becoming quite viral on social media.

The case is that a woman named Smritirekha Behera used to teach in a play school in Bhubaneswar. This is their means of livelihood. Apart from her husband, she has two daughters in the house. Smritirekha lives with her family in the Pathbandha slum of Bhubaneshwar.

Smritirekha told news agency ANI that "I have two daughters, we could not even feed them properly during the epidemic. I borrowed money from others for the family's food, but these did not last long. Life due to the epidemic After the pandemic, home tuition was my second source of income, but that too declined. I was forced to do so as there was no other option to earn. My husband also got his personal job in Bhubaneswar. I was not getting any salary, so I had to do this job. 

"I lost my job due to COVID. My husband was in auto sector which also closed. I'm not interested in this job but I've to do it for my family," she said.
