On Monday, June 20, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the results of Class 12 Exams 2022. The students who appeared for the exam can check their results by visiting the official website of the board at tnresults.nic.in. The results can be downloaded from the official website with the help of the roll number and date of birth of the candidate.
After the Covid-19 pandemic, this is the first time that the board conducted written exams for the students. For the past two years, due to the pandemic, the board was declaring the result on the basis of alternative assessment modes.

This year, 9,12,620 students appeared for the Class 10th examination, out of which 4,52,499 students were girls and 4,60,120 students were boys. The overall pass percentage this year stands at a five-year low with 90.1 percent of students passing the exam.
In Class 12th, 8,06,277 students appeared for the exam, out of which 4,21,622 were girls and 3,84,655 students were boys. This year's pass percentage is lower than the last year with 93.76 percent of students passing the exam.
Steps to Check the Results Online
- Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Education Board at tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, and dge2.tn.nic.in.
- On the homepage, go to the link TN Class 12 Result 2022.
- Fill in the credentials and submit.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Check the details in the result and download the provisional mark sheet for future reference.
- Save and take a printout of the result.
