Sourav Ganguly attended the Indian Premier League (IPL) meet on 5 January via audio call. In this meeting, many important decisions have been taken regarding IPL.

In the IPL meeting, Indian Premier League President Brijesh Patel has said that the Governing Council has decided that the eight franchises participating in IPL 2021 will be allowed to hand over the name of the Retained Player by 21 January. IPL chairman Brijesh Patel also said in the meeting that the last date for retaining the players is 21 January and the last date for closing the trading window is 4 February.


The date of the auction of IPL 2021 has not been decided yet but it is being said that this auction will end in the second or third week of February. Along with this, after leaving the hospital, Sourav Ganguly said that I thank all the doctors, nurses and everyone in the hospital treating me.
