Sidharth Shukla-Asim Riaz, Shilpa Shinde-Arshi Khan: 5 friends who turned foes in the Bigg Boss house

On Bigg Boss, we see relationships turning sour, every hour, and while this has been a constant across seasons, here are 5 friendships that did not have a happy end…

Bigg Boss 14 has been getting very interesting these days and while the actual game has just begun, it is still very early to comment on relationships between the contestants in the house. So far what we have been seeing is that Jasmin Bhasin and Rubina Dilaik are emerging to be good friends, so are Eijaz Khan and Jaan Kumar Sanu. But close to a month in the house now, we still haven’t seen any BFFs this season, on the love front, we are seeing a closeness and fondness growing between Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia.

While we are also seeing some not so strong relationships tear apart on Bigg Boss 14 right now, in the history of the show we have seen how some very strong friendships and bonds met a tragic end. Here are 5 good friends who turned foes on Bigg Boss…

1) Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz

In Bigg Boss 13, Sid and Asim looked like brothers from different mothers. Two strong men with strong personalities bonded big time and while their friendship was pure goals, it all got shattered with one task in the house. During a task on Bigg Boss, the two got into an argument after which they decided to ‘fly solo’ and that was the end of Sid and Asim. Well, their hate was as strong as their love.

2) Shilpa Shinde and Arshi Khan

Shilpa-Arshi’s bond on Bigg Boss 11 looked like it would even continue outside the house. Initially, the two ladies seemed to share quite a strong bond and had each other’s back during fights. But after a nomination episode where Shilpa nominated Arshi, things got sour between them. They started fighting over petty things and became distant. The last straw for their friendship was when Arshi befriended Shilpa’s enemy Vikas Gupta after which both Shilpa-Arshi stopped talking to each other.

3) Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chabbra

At the beginning of Bigg Boss 13, Shehnaaz and Paras clicked with each other instantly. In fact, at the premiere also Shehnaaz was seen fascinated with the ‘dashing and handsome’ Paras. In the beginning, we saw the two spend a lot of time together, joke around, but as the game progressed the two realized that they are not compatible with each other and their friendship would not go a long way. And even though Shehnaaz and Paras never had major fights, after one-weekend ka vaar episode the two started maintaining a distance and stayed that way throughout the season.

4) VJ Andy-Gauahar Khan

Bigg Boss 7’s most entertaining contestants VJ Andy and Gauahar Khan were also quite thick friends. While the two shared a great bond from the start, things between them got bitter after Andy started growing close to Gauahar’s enemy in the house Tanisha Mukerji (Tanisha hated Kushal who was close to Gauahar, hence Gauahar also hated Tanisha) and because Andy’s friendship with Tanisha kept growing stronger, Gauahar and he drifted apart in the house.

5) Armaan Kohli and Sangram Singh

Like the others, a tough situation in the Bigg Boss house also put an end to Armaan Kohli and Sangram Singh’s friendship in season 7. While the two were great friends and stood by each other during arguments, their budding friendship ended when Armaan nominated Sangram, leaving the wrestler emotionally hurt.

Now in the Bigg Boss 14 house, some friends who have turned foes are Nikki Tamboli, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Nishant Malkani, and Rahul Vaidya. But only time will tell how friendships and equations will change this season. Stay tuned!
