A case similar to the Bikru scandal in Kanpur has emerged in Kasganj, UP. Where the police who went to stop illegal liquor was attacked and a constable was martyred. It is even alleged that the police constable was beaten up by the illegal liquor traders. After this, the police killed the brother of the man accused of the attack in the encounter. The name of the slain accused is Elkar. This encounter took place near Nagla Bhikari on the banks of Kali river in Sidhpura police station area. During this time, there was also a shootout between the liquor smugglers and the police. The killed Alkal was also an accused in the murder case.
The police team went to the Nagla Dhimar village of Kasganj late Tuesday to close the illegal liquor business. But in this decaying rule of law, she returned after losing her partner. Soldier Devendra and Sub Inspector Ashok Pal were badly injured. Devendra died while being taken for treatment, while Ashok Pal is undergoing treatment at Aligarh Medical College.

50 lakh compensation to martyr soldier's family
