SBI Asha Scholarship 2022 is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). It is a novel scheme that aims to afford financial requirements of those meritorious students who belong to the families with low income in the country. As a result every student could continue his education. Under this program a student can obtain a scholarship of 15,000 annually.
However every student cannot avail this scholarship. Only students studying in Classes 6 to 12 are eligible to obtain the benefits of the programme. Also the applicant must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the previous academic year. Along with this the annual income of the family of applicant should not exceed Rs 3,00,000 from all the sources. It is open for students pan India.
An applicant has to present the following documents in order to apply for the Program. The mark sheet of the previous academic year along with the candidate’s photo is required. It is compulsory to show a government issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/PAN card/driving licence/voter card) of both student and parents. Back account details of the applicant or parent is necessary. Parents must provide an income proof (From 16A/ income certificate from government authority/salary slip etc.
