Satya Nadella's son dies at 26 due to this Disease

US tech giant Microsoft Corp CEO Satya Nadella's son Zain Nadella has passed away at 26.

US tech giant Microsoft Corp CEO Satya Nadella's son Zain Nadella has died. He was 26 years old and was suffering from cerebral palsy since birth. According to Bloomberg, Zain Nadella breathed her last on Monday morning. 

The company informed its employees about this through email. After becoming CEO of Microsoft in 2014, Nadella focused on product designing to provide a better experience for users with disabilities. During this, he also shared his experiences with Zain. Last year, Children's Hospital, in collaboration with the Nadella couple, established the "Zain Nadella Endowed Chair" in Pediatric Neuroscience. Most of Zain's treatment was done in this hospital. As per a report by Bloomberg, Microsoft has informed the executive staff in an email that Zain has passed away for his heavenly abode. 

The statement by the Hospital 

"Zain will be remembered for his eclectic taste in music, his bright sunny smile and the immense joy he brought to his family and all those who loved him," the CEO of Children’s hospital was quoted as saying in a statement. 

As per a blog post by Satya Nadella in 2017, it was in August 1996 when Zain was born with cerebral palsy. In this blog post, Nadella shared about Zain’s condition in an explanatory manner and how his son’s condition had an impact on him and his wife, Anu Nadella. 

Cerebral Palsy 
Zain Nadella was suffering from Cerebral Palsy since birth. It is a condition marked by impaired muscle coordination (spastic paralysis) and/or other disabilities, typically caused by damage to the brain before or at birth.
