Rajasthan's Sawai Mansingh Stadium to Host first T20 International

Rajasthan's Sawai Mansingh Stadium is set to host its first ever T20 International match on November 17.

The Sawai Mansingh Stadium situated in Rajsthan will host its first T20 International cricket match between India and New Zealand on November 17. As the coach of the team, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed former cricketer Rahul Dravid. Virat Kohli will play his first match under a new skipper, after relinquishing his T20 captaincy.

To welcome spectators at the venue, the Rajasthan Cricket Association is making plans with preparations going on in full swing. The Indian cricket team will reach Jaipur on November 10 and will stay in quarantine for three days. The team will practice for the match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium from November 14 to 16.

On the other hand, the New Zealand cricket team will reach Jaipur after completing their T20 World Cup engagements in the UAE and will undergo quarantine. Both teams will then leave for Ranchi on November 18 for the second match.
