The agitation of farmers in the country against agricultural

The agitation of farmers in the country against agricultural
laws is increasing. With this, the process of returning the awards has also started. Former Punjab Chief Minister
and senior Akali Dal leader Prakash Singh Badal has returned his Padma
Vibhushan award in protest against agricultural laws. Apart from him, Akali Dal
leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has now said that he will return his Padma Bhushan
award.
Prakash Singh Badal wrote a letter to President Ram Nath
Kovind, to suggest his opposition towards the agricultural laws, deploring
action on farmers and thereby giving his honor back.
Returning his Padma Vibhushan, former Punjab Chief Ministerwrote, 'I am so poor that I have nothing else to sacrifice
for the farmers, whatever I am because of the farmers. In such a situation, if
there is insult to the farmers, then there is no use of having any kind of
respect '
Harsimrat Kaur Badal is also one of the Politicians to
resign.
Let me tell you that even before this there was a big opposition to the agricultural laws by the Badal family. Harsimrat Kaur Badal resigned from the post of Union Minister and described the new laws.
The Akali Dal has been constantly protesting the agricultural laws in Punjab. However, Captain Amarinder Singh alleged that these laws were prepared and passed when the Akali Dal was involved in the central government, then why was there no protest then.
Shiromani Akali Dal (Democratic) President and Rajya Sabha MP also returned the Padma Bhushan on Thursday in support of farmers sitting on dharna in protest against agricultural laws. His son and former finance minister Parminder Dhindsa has confirmed this.
Let us tell you, Dhindsa was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2019 itself. Sukhdev Singh, once close to Prakash Singh Badal, is the
second leader after Dhindsa Badal to announce his return in support of farmers.
Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, who was a cabinet minister in the Atal
Bihari Vajpayee government, has taken this decision in opposition to the new
farming law and supporting the farmer movement. Earlier, former Punjab Chief
Minister Parkash Singh Badal has also returned his Padma Vibhushan in support
of farmers.
Government and farmers are not ready to talk.
Punjab is the most opposed to the three laws brought by the
central government. For the last two months, farmers of Punjab have been on the
roads, but have now traveled to Delhi for a week. The areas of Delhi-NCR have
been completely encircled and encamped here.
To persuade the farmers, continuous talks are being done by
the government. Four rounds have been discussed so far, but the farmers are not
ready to accept. The farmers say that the government will have to withdraw all
the three laws, as well as give a guarantee on the MSP.
Farmers are constantly being assured by the government that the MSP will remain, PM Narendra Modi himself has repeated this thing many times. But the farmers are insistent on getting a guarantee in writing. Farmers are present on the borders of Delhi for the last one week and they say that they have brought ration for four months.
