On Monday, March 28, the prices of petrol and diesel increased again for the sixth time in a week, leading to a hike of Rs 4.00 and Rs 4.10 per liter respectively since last one week. The fuel rates began to change on March 22 and this is the sixth time that prices are increased in a week. On March 28, the prices of petrol and diesel are increased by 30 paise and 35 paise per liter respectively in the national capital.
Continous increase in Fuel Prices
The prices of petrol and diesel are touching the sky making it difficult for the common man to survive. In the national capital Delhi, after an increase of 30 paise per liter in petrol and diesel by 35 paise per liter, the price of one liter of petrol retails at Rs. 99.41 paise and for one liter of diesel customers have to pay Rs. 90.77. In Mumbai, petrol is selling at Rs 114.19 per liter, while the price of diesel has reached Rs 98.50 per liter, with an increase of 31 paise per liter in petrol and 37 paise per liter increase in the price of diesel.
