Some film actors who we have seen explore the small screen are megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Malaika Arora Khan, Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha and many more. And this migration has been a two-way traffic, not only have stars from Bollywood flocked on to this household medium, but even lots of our ideal bahu-betas from TV have aspired and strived to taste the glamour of movies. The latest one from television who is said to be planning to focus more on his Bollywood career is actor Parth Samthaan. We have all seen Karan Singh Grover play the oh-so-charming doctor Armaan in Dill Mill Gaye, Qubool Hai and his latest stint on TV was as Mr Bajaj on Kasuatii Zindagi Kay 2. But other than his successful run on the small screen, Karan has also featured in quite many films. Some of them are Alone and Hate Story 3.

Vikrant Massey

Vikrant Massey who impressed everyone with his role in Chappaak has had a decade long career in television. While he has featured in shows like Balika Vadhu, Qubool Hai, Dharam Veer, etc is ruling the roost in Bollywood currently. While he had some small roles in Lootera and Dil Dhadakne Do, now he will be seen as the hero in Ginny Weds Sunny, Cargo, Haseen Dillruba and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare.

Comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma not only made the nation laugh with his The Kapil Sharma show, but this ace comedian also featured in some films, namely, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Firangi.

And these names are just the tip of the ice berg, there have been many more TV actors who have tried their luck at the movies and even had a fair run in showbiz, some of them are, Prachi Desai, Pulkit, Yami, Amruta Khanvilkar, Amna Shareef, Nakuul Mehta, Jay Bhanushali, Bharti Singh, Maniesh Paul, Rajeev Khandelwal, Laksh Lalwani, Jennifer Winget, Gauahar Khan, and many more.
