Regardless of skin type, our skin faces many issues in summer season due to dirt, sunlight, pollution, etc. Read these simple tips which can be incorporated in daily routine for a healthy skin.

As the summer season approaches our skin either gets dehydrated or oily. With oily skin occurs various other skin conditions like acne, dark spots, pimples, etc. Direct exposure of our skin to the sun invites several issues too. But to the rescue, here are a few simple tips that could be incorporated into the day-to-day lifestyle and many such problems can stay at bay. 

Stay Hydrated 

Dehydration causes a lot of issues in our internal as well as external bodies. Drinking at least 7-8 glasses of water can aid to get rid of issues caused due to dehydration. However, too much water shouldn't be consumed as it may lead to issues like bloating, loss of appetite, etc. 

Fruits, Fruits, Fruits 

Consumption of seasonal fruits balances the water levels of our body. In summers opt for fruits like mangoes, grapes, and watermelons. Apart from water levels, seasonal fruits are also rich in nutrients that are essential for our bodies. 

Sunscreen is a must 

The scorching heat of summers takes away the glow of the face and creates several skin conditions like dark spots, white spots, tanning, pigmentation, etc. However, proper and regular use of sunscreen, while going out of the house or staying indoors, will help to avoid such conditions at bay and keep the skin healthy. 

Washing the face twice with Coldwater 

As an essential skincare routine, it is important to wash your face twice a day- once in the morning and then before going to bed. Keep in mind to always wash your face with cold water in summer as it cools off the irritation of the skin caused due to dirt, pollution, sunlight, etc. 

Opt for natural products 

Avoid chemical-based products and say yes to natural products. Chemical-based products sometimes consist of ingredients that may or may not suit the skin and we don't pay much attention to the ingredients while buying new skincare products. Different ingredients react differently on different skin types.
