On Thursday, Amrita Hospitals announced that in August 2022, a new hospital with a capacity of 2,400 beds will be opened to the public in Faridabad. In the press conference, the management of the Amrita Hospitals stated that the new Amrita Hospital is spread across 133 acres of land area in Faridabad and in India, it will be the biggest private sector hospital.

25 years ago, Mata Amritanandmayi Math established a 1,200 beds Amrita Hospital in Kochi, and Kerala, and the new campus at Faridabad will be the second large-scale Amrita Hospital.
Located at Sector 88 in Faridabad, the hospital will have a total built area of 1 crore sq. ft that includes a 14-floor high tower encompassing the important medical facilities and patient areas.

Eight centers with 81 Specialties
As per a report by the Financial Express, the Head of Mata Amritanandmayi Math, Swami Nijamritananda Puri, stated in a press conference, "the 81 specialties at the hospital will include eight centers of excellence, such as oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, gastro-sciences, renal sciences, bone diseases, trauma, transplants, and mother and child."
After the opening, 500 beds will be operational from August 2022. By 2024, the hospital will have 750 operational beds and by 2027, there will be 1,000 beds operational in the hospital. There will be 800 doctors along with other experts, the hospital will be having a staff of 10,000 people.
