Netflix India has cut down the price of all its subscription plans. The company has taken this in order to compete with Amazon Prime and Disney + Hotstar subscription plans in India. The company has reduced the price of all its plans including the single mobile plan. Streaming giant Netflix's mobile price has now been reduced to Rs 149 per month from Rs 199 earlier.
While making the announcement at Twitter, Netflix wrote, "Aap @aliaa08 se convince ho gaye ya hum aur bole? ???? #HappyNewPrices are here, which means you can now watch Netflix on any device at ₹199 and on your mobile at ₹149!"

In an official statement, Netflix India VP of content Monika Shergill said, “As Indians, we love great entertainment. Whatever your mood, tastes or plan, Netflix is now even more accessible. Whether you choose Aranyak on Friday, Money Heist on Saturday, or Dhamaka and Sooryavanshi on Sunday, you can watch all of Netflix on your mobile for Rs. 149, and on any device starting at Rs. 199”, reported The Economic Times.
The new price of Netflix's Basic, Standard and Premium plans has come down from Rs 199 to Rs 149. At the same time, the premium plan has now been reduced from Rs 799 to Rs 649.
