The Indian smartphone brand is yet to announce details about the new handset, but a fresh leak suggests that Micromax may launch new smartphones in India in mid-December. The company has not launched any device for some time now. In June this year, Micromax In 2b was launched with features like Unisoc T610 SoC, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and 5,000mAh battery.
RAM and storage
Micromax will launch a handset in the first 'in' series by the name of Micromax in Note 1 Pro. The handset was spotted on Geekbench with model number E7748, which gives a glimpse at some of the key features of the phone. The handset was to be powered by the MediaTek MT6785 SoC, which could be the MediaTek Helio G90 chipset. Furthermore, the Micromax in Note 1 Pro is listed to pack 4GB of RAM and run on the older Android 10 operating system.
New Design
Micromax in Note 1 Pro achieved a single-core score of 519 and a multi-core score of 1,673 points on Geekbench. The handset is said to work on Android 11. The budget handset was launched in June with a price tag of Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage option and Rs. 8,999 for the 6GB + 64GB storage model. It has been launched in Black, Blue and Green color options.
