On Wednesday, July 06, the rates of domestic liquid petroleum gas cylinders were hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder, making it the third rise in prices since May. As per the price notification by the oil companies, the non-subsidized LPG cylinders will now cost Rs 1,053 per 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi.
The rates of domestic 5 kg cylinders are raised by Rs 18 per cylinder and the rates for 19 kg commercial cooking gas cylinders are decreased by Rs 8.50 per cylinder, as per the price notification rolled out by state-owned oil trading companies.

New prices effective from today
Sharing the information about the recent price hike in cooking gas prices, the news agency ANI took to their official Twitter handle. The agency wrote, "Domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder's prices increased by Rs 50/cylinder with effect from today. A domestic LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1053 in Delhi. 5kg domestic cylinder price increase by Rs 18/cylinder. 19kg commercial cylinder prices decreased by Rs 8.50."

Latest rates of cooking gas in different states
Earlier, the price of cooking gas was hiked on May 19, 2022. The latest LPG price hike will come into effect immediately from the day is Wednesday, said the notification. In Mumbai, the 14.2 kg cylinder will cost Rs. 1,052.50, in Kolkata, it will be selling at Rs 1,079. People living in Chennai have to pay Rs 1,068.50 per cylinder.
In Bengaluru, the domestic gas cylinder will cost Rs 1,055.50 per cylinder. However, in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar, the consumers have to pay Rs 1,169 per cylinder and in Shimla, the cylinder will be selling at Rs Rs 1,100.
