Amidst the rising cases of Covid-19, Kuwait has announced to make the Covid-19 booster dose mandatory for travelers wanting to enter the nation. People who have completed nine months of the second dose of the vaccine can take the booster shot. The order will come into effect from 26 December which is Sunday.
General of Civil Aviation - Kuwait took to their Twitter handle in order to mention all the important travel requirements.
The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority, in a statement stated, "if a person hasn’t received a booster shot after nine months of vaccine, he or she won’t be considered fully vaccinated."
However, a report by TOI said, "Citizens of Kuwait will not be allowed to fly out of the country if they haven’t taken a booster shot. If any passenger fails to present the PCR test report or if not vaccinated with a booster shot, they would not be allowed at the Kuwait International Airport."
