On the first day of April, oil marketing companies have hiked the prices of Jet Fuel or Air Turbine (ATF) by up to 2 percent. After the recent hike, the price of jet fuel has reached an all-time high of Rs 1,12,924.83 per kiloliter.
Price hike for the seventh time in a year
It is the seventh time in a year that ATF prices have increased. After the current price hike, in Delhi, the prices of jet fuel have increased by Rs. 1,258.54 per kiloliter which is a 2% hike and the final prices reached Rs. 1,12,924.83 per kiloliter.
Prices are revised on the 1st and 16th of every month
Every month, the rates of jet fuel are revised on the 1st and 16th based on the average international price. In 2022, the prices of ATF are increasing since the year started. Talking about 2022, the prices are increased by 7-fold since January 1. The ATF prices are increased by Rs. 38,902.92 kiloliters or around 50 percent in 2022.
Petrol and Diesel price remains stable
Petrol and Diesel rates are getting increased continuously in the nation. However, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday. Till Thursday, March 31, the rates for one liter of petrol and diesel have increased by Rs. 6.40.
In Delhi, petrol is selling at Rs. 101.81per liter and diesel is costing Rs. 93.27 per liter. On the other hand, in Mumbai, petrol is retailing at Rs. 116.72 per liter and diesel is selling at Rs. 100.94 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol is costing Rs. 111.35 per liter and diesel is retailing at Rs. 96.22 per liter.
