Standard worldwide flights are probably going to continue services from March 15, in the wake of staying suspended for almost two years. As per the sources, authorities will follow the standard operating procedures which are effective at Indian air terminals for foreign arrivals and departures.
Supposedly, the decision on continuing standard worldwide flights has been taken up by the Civil Aviation Ministry after the conference was conducted with the Health Ministry as the Covid-19 cases are decreasing in India. However, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has not made any authority declaration yet.

- The revised travel guidelines for international arrivals came into effect from February 14, scrapping off the mandatory seven-day home quarantine and the need for travelers to undertake an RT-PCR test on the eighth day.
- An option to upload certificates of the completion of the full Covid-19 vaccination schedule is also provided.
- The marking of countries 'at-risk' and other countries has been removed.
- The mandate of sending samples for testing on the airport at the time of arrival and waiting till the result is obtained from countries marked as ‘at-risk’ has been waived off.
