Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has reached to quarterfinals in Indonesia Open Super 100 event after defeating Germany’s Yvonne Li. On Thursday, Sindhu has registered victory over Germany’s Yvonne Li to cruise into the women’s singles quarterfinals of the Indonesia Open Super 1000 event.
"The reigning world champion, seeded third here, hardly broke a sweat to win the second round clash 21-12 21-18 against the world No. 26 in 37 minutes at the USD 850,000 event", reported News18.
A report by Timesnow News says, "Riding on the confidence, the Indian shuttler lead 7-4 at the start and took full control over the match. The second half of the second game saw Yvonne coming close to Sindhu but the Indian shuttler got over the line with a score of 21-18."
