On the occasion of Holi, the Indian Railways has announced to run special trains in order to connect Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Bihar for the ease of passengers. The move has been announced to ensure that regardless of gender and age the passengers will be able to enjoy a comfortable journey to their destinations.
For more details like the timings, ticket fare etc. the passengers are advised to check the list of Holi special trains on the official website of IRCTC.
The Holi special trains
Train number 02364, Anand Vihar Terminal-Patna reserved Holi special train will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:30 PM on March 25 and 28 and will arrive in Patna at 5:30 PM the next day. While returning, the Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal reserved Holi special train will leave from Patna at 10:20 PM on March 23 and 27 and arrive Anand Vihar Terminal at 3:15 PM the next day.
Train number 02398, Delhi Junction-Gaya Holi special train will depart from Delhi Junction on 23rd and 26th March at 8:10 AM and will arrive at Gaya at 11:00 PM on the same day. While returning, the train will depart from Gaya on March 22 and March 25 at 7:10 AM and will arrive at the Delhi Junction at 11:35 PM on the same day.
Train number 05557, Muzaffarpur- Valsad Holi special will depart from Muzaffarpur at 8:10 PM on March 22 and March 29 and will arrive at Valsad at 11:30 AM on the third day. While coming back, the train will depart from Valsad at 6:45 AM on March 25 and April 1 and will arrive at Muzaffarpur at 7 PM the following day.
Train No. 09622, Bandra Terminus - Ajmer Jn Superfast Special will depart from Bandra Terminus on Monday, 21st & 28th March, 2022 at 11.15 hrs and will arrive Ajmer Jn. at 09.10 hrs, the next day. While returning, the train will depart from Ajmer Jn. on Sunday, 20th & 27th March, 2022 at 06.35 hrs and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 04.15 hrs, the next day.
