India International Trade Fair 2021: 40th Edition of Trade Fair Commences in New Delhi

A glimpse of self-reliant India was celebrated with the opening ceremony of Jharkhand Pavilion at the trade fair in New Delhi.

A glimpse of self-reliant India was celebrated with the opening ceremony of Jharkhand Pavilion at the international trade fair in New Delhi. For the last two years, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the India International Trade Fair, the largest fair in the world and India, has not been organized. This year the fair is being organized in which Jharkhand is showcasing the products and departments of its state in the category of focus state. 

In a tweet, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal said, "Export potential key focus at 40th India International Trade Fair to be held from November 14-27. 14-day mega event at revamped Pragati Maidan to display undying spirit of businesses through the pandemic and efforts to build Aatmanirbhar Bharat." 


The World Trade Fair was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal. Jharkhand Pavilion was inaugurated by Industries Director Jitendra Kumar Singh. This year, Jharkhand will be a major center of attraction among all the states at trade fair as it is the focus state. The Jharkhand Pavilion has been built in front of Gate No.5B of Pragati Maidan. On Monday, State Foundation Day will be celebrated at the trade fair.
