The third and final match of the three-match T20I series between the India Women's cricket team and the Sri Lanka Women's cricket team will be played on Thursday in Pallekele, Sri Lanka. This is the first time for team India to play ODI cricket after the legendary player Mithali Raj announced her retirement.
In the two matches, the Indian women's cricket team has taken lead by 2-0 in the three-match series. On Monday, the team won the second match against Sri Lanka by 10 wickets. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian team is performing very well. India's star openers Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana hit half-centuries.

This year Harmanpreet Kaur, the new full-time skipper of the Indian women's cricket team has been the most consistent player in this series. Meanwhile, pacer Renuka Singh has taken seven wickets in two matches of 50 overs. It includes her career's best 4/28.
