The three-match series was played between India and England in Southampton, England. In the first match of the series, Hardik hit his maiden T20I half-century in 30 balls with India leading to a score of 198-8.
While taking a lead in the balling, Hardik took four wickets of the challenging team including Dawid Malan, Jason Roy, Liam Livingstone, and Sam Curran. With his exceptional batting and bowling, he has been chosen as the player of the match.
