The West Indies women's cricket team has moved up to the third position in the points table on Friday after getting a four-run win over Bangladesh in the ICC Women's World Cup 2022 at the Bay Oval. West Indies now have six points from five matches. Bangladesh team is placed at seventh place in the points table with two points from four matches. With the West Indies win, India has fell down to the fourth position in the points table with four points from four matches. With this victory of West Indies, New Zealand and England have also fell down further in the points table.
India vs Australia, India wins first match out of four
On Saturday, India set a target of 277/7 against Australia in their fifth match at the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 being played at the Eden Park in Auckland. Mithali Raj, Yastika Bhatia and Harmanpreet Kaut hit half-centuries to assist India set a high target in order to win against the Australian team who won all their four matches so far.
