Former NCB chief Sameer Wankhede accused of taking bribe to not frame Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a case against IRS officer Sameer Wankhede and four others for demanding Rs 25 crore bribe for not naming Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a case against IRS officer Sameer Wankhede and four others for demanding Rs 25 crore bribe for not naming Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug case. The former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer had sought the bribe from Shah Rukh Khan to keep Aryan Khan out of the case. Sources have stated that Sameer Wankhede had taken Rs 25 crore from the owners of cordelia ship where a drug party was busted by NCB in 2021.

The investigation agency has also conducted raids at Sameer Wankhede’s residence and other places related to the bribery case. The CBI conducted raids in his 29 premises in Mumbai, Delhi and Kanpur, among others. The CBI further alleged that Wankhede, two former NCB officials, and some private workers had already collected Rs 50lakh of the demanded Rs 25 crore bribe.

Sameer Wankhede stated “I will fight till death” he further added “my children who are just two years old are fighting 12 people. My father who is 70-plus years old is battling 7 to 8people. Same is the case with my in-laws. For the media this is just a piece of news but for me it is the security of my family, which is my priority. We have been living under threat.”

Wankhede stated that his family has been under threat for past months even Wankhede’s wife actress Kranti Redkar has stated the same in many interviews.
