Delhi Weather: Dense fog makes temp. reach 7.6 degrees

The minimum temperature in the national capital reaches 7.6 degrees.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of a new western disturbance. Which will affect the whole of North India. Due to this, there may be heavy rain in Delhi-NCR on 21, 22 and 23 January. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for January 22. 

The weather department said that it is only after 2015, that days like this are being seen in Delhi where the sky remains cloudy from morning to evening. Meanwhile, it is a matter of relief that there will be a slight increase in the day temperature from today. 

The dense fog 

On Thursday, it has rained in Pathankot, Haryana, Delhi etc. of Punjab. On Friday, the national capital witnessed a foggy morning with visibility dropping to 200 metres as the city recorded a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius. 

As per the prediction, on Friday, the city will witness cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle and the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 19 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.
