In winter season, the skin looses its capacity to retain the natural moisture as compared to summer season. The natural loss of moisture from the skin causes problems for people with sensitive skin. Many experts believe that in winters the atmosphere takes away the moisture of the skin. However, with a proper skincare routine these issues can be dealt with ease
The simple remedies
Normal skin
People with normal skin type should use a thicker moisturizer (cream-based instead of lotion or gel-based) and apply it once or twice a day on the damp skin including the entire body.
Acne-prone Skin
People with acne-prone skin need to consult their dermatologists. However, one can always use non-comedogenic moisturizer and lip care with petroleum jelly.
Dry Skin
People with dry skin need to apply thick moisturizers multiple times a day on their damp skin.
