Canada allows Fully Vaccinated Travelers with Covaxin from Nov 30

Canada has allowed entry to travelers who are fully vaccinated with Covaxin.

From November 30, Canada will start allowing the travelers who are fully vaccinated with doses of Sinovac, Sinopharm and Covaxin, said the Canada government. At present, Canada is allowing entry to only those travelers who are vaccinated with the doses of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson.

As reported by Xinhua news agency, "Starting from November 30, people leaving Canada by land or by air for less than 72 hours will no longer be needed to show a proof of negative molecular test to re-enter the borders of Canada."

As reported by Hindustan Times, the Canadian government said on Friday, "Starting November 30, vaccination will be required for travel within and out of Canada. A valid Covid-19 molecular test will no longer be accepted as an alternative to vaccination unless travelers are eligible for one of the limited exemptions, such as a medical inability to be vaccinated. Travelers should contact their airline or railway company to obtain the necessary form and submit it in accordance with their carrier's approval process as of November 30."
