Brahmastra Part One-Shiva is a mythology based fiction starring Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist. He is a DJ from Mumbai who grew in an orphanage unaware of his parents and their supernatural abilities. Shiva is blessed with a power that shields him from fire. Soon he discovers that he is destined to safeguard the world from destruction. The tale revolves around an Astra (weapon) which had been parted by Shiva’s mother Amrita and was preserved by three different personalities. They are an artist (Nagarjun), a scientist Sharukh Khan and a guru (Amitabh Bachan). Moni elangtly plays the role of villain along with his two supporters who aims to seize the powerful weapon.

Junoon (Moni Roy) succeeds in conquering 2 pieces of Brahmastra by killing the artist and scientist with bullets. Audience found it quit illogical as these people could not save themselves despite of possessing a powerful weapon. While Alia Bhatt is the heroin, her presence seems quite unnecessary and their love story turns into a glitch in the plot.Kesariya, Deva, and Dance Ka Bhoot are a fun. The comic timing of the film is good enough to disturb the flow of events. Most of the dialogues are being considered senseless and annoying especially the dialogues of Moni Roy. The VFX quality doesn’t seem to overlap with what was promised by the maker Ayan Mukherjee which disappointed the viewers.

Although the movie is laden with superstars like Amitabh Bachan and Nagarjuna and SRK, the makers had failed to utilise their skills properly. A glimpse of Brahmastra Part 2-Deva is projected by Amitabh Bachan who educates Shiva about the truth behind his wierd dreams and illusions. He also reveals Shiva is the son of Amrita and Deva who had the power to control water and fire respectively. In the second part Dipika Padukone along with Randir Singh would play the role of Amrita and Deva. The plot would narrate the battle with love and responsibility in which Amrita breaks the Brahmastra and hides them in three different places to protect them from Devas false desires which could end the world. Although Shiva joins all the parts but the world doesn’t end as Shiva is ready to sacrifice his life for his love (Alia Bhatt). It proves the moral “love conquers all”.
