Army dog Zoom passed away on October 13. Netizens showered the late dog with tributes

Zoom, the courageous dog that was a part of the Indian Army unfortunately passed away at 12pm on October 13. The highly trained, ferocious, and committed dog was sent in a search operation in the Tangpawa area of the south Kashmir district late on Sunday

Zoom, the courageous dog that was a part of the Indian Army unfortunately passed away at 12pm on October 13. The highly trained, ferocious, and committed dog was sent in a search operation in the Tangpawa area of the south Kashmir district late on Sunday night. Security forces had initiated the mission after they got information about terrorists hiding in the Anantnag area. The dog has received advanced training of locating terrorists. 

After participating in several army operations against terrorists Zoom was sent to locate the hiding terrorists in Anantnag area. While clearing the area as a part of army operation Zoom was severely injured by two bullets. Although the required surgery was done at Advance Field Veterinary Hospital of Srinagar, the treatment failed to save the dog. 

Army officials informed that "Army dog Zoom, under treatment at 54 AFVH, passed away around 12 noon today. He was responding well till around 11:45 am when he suddenly started gasping and collapsed."
