Bollywood fame Akshay Kumar posted the official trailer of his upcoming movie Ram Setu in his instagram handle. The film would be released only in theatres on October 25. The post was captioned "You loved the first glimpse of #RamSetu…Hope you show even more love to the trailer. Aur Iss diwali aayiee apne pure parivaar ke saath Ram Setu ki duniya ka hissa ban nein #RamSetu. 25th October. Only in Theatres worldwide".

Beginning with a courtroom hearing, the trailer discovers that the government has entreated Supreme Court's permission to demolish Ram Setu. Then Nassar was spotted saying India runs on the belief in Lord Ram, and questioned how anyone could challenge this belief. Thus he appoints Akshay an “atheist turned believer and archaeological” in a mission to Ram Setu.

While making attempts to prove the existence of Ram Setu and saving it in three days Akshay Kumar along with his team discovers that they had been sent to die as a part of the villians’s conspiracy. The identity of the villain remains unrevealed in the action packed adventurous trailer. However stars like Satya Dev, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nasser, Pravesh Rana, Jennifer Piccinato were spotted.

The trailer ends with an impressive conclusion projecting Akshay rising out of the sea holding a stone from the bridge on his shoulder, as his voiceover said, "There are millions of temples of Shri Ram in the world, but, Setu is only one." Social media is laden with the comments of viewers praising this dialogue. Someone commented “Only this dialogue is enough to hit the film”.

The scene in which Akshay explains his own meaning of the Hindi word ‘itihas (History)’ as "it thus happened" is also highly creative and appreciable. The stunning background music of the 2 minutes 10 seconds trailer of the movie directed by Abhisekh Sharma is enough to give you goosebumps. The movie is co-produced by Cape of Good Films along with Amazon Prime Video, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions.
