8 Cities of UP in the List of India's Top 10 Most Polluted Cities

In the list of India's top 10 most polluted cities, 8 cities are from Uttar Pradesh.

After Diwali, in several major cities of India the air quality index has remained in the severe category since Diwali. The AQI in Delhi has improved after three days, although the air of Delhi is still not clear. On the other hand, Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh has been ranked first among the most polluted cities in the country with an AQI of 477. All five cities in the top-5 of the most polluted cities in the country are from Uttar Pradesh. However, eight cities of Uttar Pradesh are included in the top 10. 

Vrindavan of Uttar Pradesh ranks first among the most polluted cities in the country. The AQI of Vrindavan was recorded at 477 today. Meanwhile, Agra (469) is in second place, Ghaziabad (432) in third place, Kanpur (430) in fourth place and Hapur (422) in fifth place. After this, Baghpat (415), Jind (415), Ballabgarh (414), Noida (407) and Bulandshahr (406) are also included in the list of top-10 most poluuted cities respectively. Eight cities of Uttar Pradesh are included in this list, while the remaining two cities are from Haryana. 

AQI between 0-50 is considered best while 51-100 is considered satisfactory, 101-200 moderate, 201-300 poor, 301-400 very poor and 401-500 severe/hazardous.
